The Toronto Police 53 Division Community Police Liaison Committee (CPLC) is offering its annual Student Leadership Bursary Awards, provided to graduating high school students that live or go to school within the 53 Division boundaries.
Students must demonstrate financial need and will be attending post-secondary programs and/or training programs at either Ontario publicly-assisted colleges or universities.
The value of each bursary is $3,000.00.
Eligibility:
- Graduating Grade 12 Student
- Canadian citizen, permanent resident or otherwise entitled to study in Canada
- Lives or goes to school within the 53 Division Boundaries
- Received acceptance to a certificate program, part-time undergraduate degree program, or
full-time undergraduate degree program in 2026-27 academic year - Demonstrates financial need, academic achievement, exceptional community service and extracurricular involvement
Applications must also include:
- A completed Student Leadership Bursary Awards Application Form. Please fill out this PDF form electronically.
- A Personal Statement (maximum of 1000 words) outlining your financial need, lived experiences, accomplishments, community leadership/volunteer involvement in the community, career goals and how this bursary will help you.
- Two Reference Letters
- Up-to-date Resume
- Proof of Acceptance and Enrolment to Post-Secondary Program/Training Institute
