How to prevent our Newsletters from going to your spam folder

Gmail

  1. Sign into your email
  2. Settings (Drop down list from gear icon in top right corner)
  3. Settings
  4. Filters and Blocked Addresses
  5. Create a new filter
  6. In the From box, type in ‘ac.ot1713969825norot1713969825ardes1713969825@pihs1713969825rebme1713969825m1713969825
  7. Click on create filter with this search in the bottom right corner
  8. Check ‘Never send it to Spam’ and then Create filter

Rogers / Yahoo

  1. Sign into your email
  2. Go to Mail Options (Drop down list from gear icon in the top right corner)
  3. Settings then More Settings
  4. Filters
  5. Add new filter
  6. Filter Name: SEDRA
  7. Set rules for From: Select a filter contains
  8. Filter value is ‘ac.ot1713969825norot1713969825ardes1713969825@pihs1713969825rebme1713969825m1713969825
  9. Click save

Hotmail / Bell

  1. Sign into your email
  2. Settings (Drop down list from gear icon in top right menu)
  3. Options
  4. Junk Mail sub-menu on the right
  5. Safe senders
  6. Hit the plus (+) symbol to add a new send
  7. Type in ‘ac.ot1713969825norot1713969825ardes1713969825@pihs1713969825rebme1713969825m1713969825’ then click Add (+) to confirm
  8. Save changes.

Other Email Services

All email services have similar capabilities to whitelist email addresses. Check your help screens for specific details.

Third Party Spam Software

If your desktop uses third party spam filtering software (e.g., Norton, McAfee), you may need to check the filtering rules that may already be applied to your computer

Email Service Provider Problems

If you are having problems with receiving our emails, you may need to contact your Email Service Provider (e.g., Roger, Bell). They may be applying additional spam filters restricting the flow of your emails. Ask them to whitelist emails to you from southeglinton.ca.
