We wish to express our support for the city planning recommendations as
presented in the 1 Eglinton Ave. East – Zoning Amendment Application –
We applaud the willingness of the developer, DavPart, to consult with our
community group. This consultation resulted in a re-submission of the application
in late 2015. Between the original submission and the version reviewed in this
Final Report, substantial improvements in the design have been made, such as
the preservation and slight expansion of office space, the ample and attractive
outdoor public realm, the attention to detail at street level, the provision of 60
three-bedroom apartments, the installation of a subway entrance on site, the commitment of funds to projects such as the much needed upgrade of Cowbell Lane and the planned Davisville Community Centre.
